About Shannon Miller
Shannon Miller is a 2 x Olympic Gymnast, earning 7 Olympic medals! (2 gold, 2 silver, 3 bronze) She is the only female athlete to be inducted into the US Olympic Hall of Fame – Twice! (Individual (2006) and Team (2008)) At the ’96 Games, she led the “Magnificent Seven” to the US Women’s first ever Team Gold and for the first time for any American gymnast, she captured Gold on the Balance Beam. After retiring from Olympic competition, Shannon received her undergraduate degrees in marketing and entrepreneurship from the University of Houston and her law degree from Boston College. She is the Founder & CEO of Salto Health, a company that helps cancer survivors understand and access the non-medical resources that improve quality of life and treatment adherence, while enabling loved ones to provide meaningful, timely, and personalized support. Shannon is an ovarian cancer survivor and author of "It's Not About Perfect. Competing for My Country and Fighting for My Life". Shannon is a highly sought after motivational speaker on the Gold Medal Mindset focusing on resilience, goals setting, teamwork and a commitment to excellence. She has been a commentator, analyst or host for every Olympics since 1996 and hosted a radio show focused on health and wellness for five years. She is a mother of two and a passionate advocate for health, wellness and fitness especially for women 40+. She shares “What we do today is important today, but what we do today is essential for what we can do 30 years from now. Every moment matters.”
