About Rick Thomas
Rick Thomas is a veteran luxury-yachting executive, entrepreneur, media personality and industry creator with more than 40 years of experience across the superyacht and maritime sectors. He founded Nautical Structures in 1986 and helped build it into a globally recognized supplier of hydraulic systems and equipment for large yachts. He later launched the U.S. operation of JMS Yachting before establishing Rick Thomas Yachting Development, where he now advises yacht owners, management teams and industry businesses on yacht management, project development, technical services, insurance and compliance. Rick is also the host of Yachting USA, produced in collaboration with Yachting International Radio, interviewing the executives, innovators and decision-makers shaping the industry. His content combines deep technical knowledge, business leadership, yacht ownership and marine-industry insight.
