About Riley Whitelum
Riley Whitelum is an Australian sailor, adventurer, entrepreneur, and pioneering marine content creator best known as the co-founder of Sailing La Vagabonde. Riley began his sailing journey after working for eight years offshore in Western Australia as an oil-and-gas rigger, using his savings to purchase his first sailboat. In 2014, he met Elayna Carausu in Greece, and together they began documenting their journey sailing around the world. Their Sailing La Vagabonde channel has grown into one of the largest sailing platforms in the world, with nearly 2 million YouTube subscribers and more than 70,000 nautical miles sailed. Riley's content combines sailing, boat ownership, adventure, family, travel, marine technology, and sustainable living. He is particularly valuable to marine, outdoor, travel, technology, and premium lifestyle brands.
